Shout Out

…is the LGBT slot on BCfm, the community radio station in Bristol. I was down there on Thursday evening, talking with Jayne Chard about Becoming Drusilla and other stuff. Which included me miming an egret. Funny how these things work out.

Anyway, jolly good fun, and thank you, Jayne, Mary, Andy, Kevin and Steve!

If you click the picture, you should link to the website and you can hear a podcast of the show. I’m on a little after halfway through, but of course you will want to listen to it all. And then go on to vote for the show on the Pink Paper Readers’ Awards 2011 poll.

So glad it went well, Dru – and they got an egret into the bargain!

  2. Dru says:

hey, you’re never alone with an egret…

  3. This is Richard Baker, back from newsreaders’ limbo. At least I escaped better than fellow Swindon writer, Mark Haddon, and his well-known novel *The Curious Case of the Dog in the Manger*. Great stuff.
Dru, you were brilliant – charm on an airwave.
